Yes, that's what I was looking for and it seems to work perfect. A way to quickly filter a list of files comes in handy. Thanks too, for allowing us to type our own filters (for example, *.bat) - not all programs support that.

You might want to consider changing the text descriptions of the filters so they are more in line with what we're used to with other apps:

  • All Text Documents (*.txt, *.ste)
  • Text Documents (*.txt)
  • STE Documents (*.ste)
  • All Files (*.*)

I don't use other OSes enough to know what the "standard" is for those, but this is what we're used to seeing in Windows. Can you detect the OS being used and make minor changes accordingly? If so, that'd be cool!

Yes, I can detect the OS being used (as shown in the "About" dialog) and that naturally means I can change how the program does something based on that. I'd have to know more about what wording other operating systems use before I do that though.

I'll un-mark this one as done then, until I fix up the names.
