STE, USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

1. GRANT OF LICENSE.

You may install and use the software STE for free.

2. RESTRICTIONS.

You may not sell the product.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

You may not rent, lease or lend the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

You may not make the SOFTWARE PRODUCT available to download on any website other than the official website (http://wdeditor.com).

You may not use parts or software components from STE in other products, software programs or scripts.

3. COPYRIGHT.

This computer program is protected by copyright law and international treaties.

4. NO WARRANTY.

THE APPLICATION "STE" IS DISTRIBUTED "AS IS". NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. YOU USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE AUTHOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS, DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, PHYSICAL INJURIES, EMOTIONAL INJURIES OR ANY OTHER KIND OF LOSS WHILE USING OR MISUSING "STE".

5. NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

6. MISCELLANEOUS

This user license agreement is governed by international treaties and the laws of Australia.

Whilst STE is free to use, we currently provide limited technical support via a forum on the official website for your convenience. We also listen to our user's requirements when deciding what features to implement in future versions of the software product. This arrangement is subject to change at any time and we are not required to inform you of any changes to this arrangement.

Editor resources

Some resources in STE use a different license and therefore you are free to use them if that license is compatible with your project's license.

Icon sets

All icon sets included in STE are governed by their own license. That license is viewable in the LICENSE.txt file that is in the same directory as the icon set. Icon sets are made available to you (by the icon set creator) in this forum.

Inconsolata font

The Inconsolata font included in STE v2.00 (and above) is governed by it's own license. License information is available in the About dialog of STE. You can download the font here.

Apache XML-RPC libraries

The Apache XML-RPC libraries are governed by their own license. They are used to connect STE to the Wikidot XML-RPC API. You can download these libraries here.

Wikidot API library

The Wikidot API library used in STE is written in Java. At the current point in time the library is still in development. It can be found here: api-java.wikidot.com

The STE logo

The official STE logo is licensed under the GPL. You can download the high-resolution PNG file.
