I think, it is more important to KNOW WHERE A FILE is attached … this is today only visible in the backup file.

Included page "inc:signature" does not exist (create it now)

Hi Helmuti,

My main plan at this stage is to let you upload files for a specific page. For example, select a page from the tree view then manage all files for that page only (upload and download).

Once that is working correctly, the plan is to make a more robust file manager that will let you view a list of all files on the entire site at once. That would allow you to move files between pages, for example.

So this would be a two-stage implementation, with the second stage being added in a separate update.

I think, it is more important to KNOW WHERE A FILE is attached

If I understand you correctly, you're hoping for the second stage. If you know that you have a file uploaded, but don't know which page it is attached to, it should be easy to find out. Correct?

Yes, I had a question from a german user who wanted to "close" an old wiki and asked where such attached files can be found for deletion.

My answer was to use the backup file.
That was the reason for me to think "where" my files are attached ( i use the "files" category in most cases only..).

But your plan looks good ! And I can wait for it.. :)
